Mobile Library Website

Check out our new mobile-friendly webpage on your smartphone or tablet computer. You can save time by searching the library catalog or renewing books while you’re out and about -- no more detours to your dorm or the nearest computer lab. You can also find our top ten databases, ask a librarian for help, get our hours and contact information, or browse our services/resources.

Mobile-friendly Databases

Several of our database vendors now have mobile sites: American Chemical Society, JSTOR, IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) Explore, EBSCO (a source for a wide range of databases), and others. These mobile sites let you search for and read articles without having to scroll to different parts of the page.

Holiday Treats from the Library

Once your holiday festivities are over, you may find yourself with time to spare and in need of some reading or listening material. In case that happens, check out these ideas from previous LOL posts:

Mobile Website

Use your smartphone/tablet to access the library! The library has a mobile website designed to work better for small wireless devices. The URL is http://www.tarleton.edu/m/library The mobile site gives you information about our hours, the services we offer, links for searching our catalog, and it even lets you search our most popular databases! 

 

Additionally there is a library catalog app available for both iPhone and Android smartphones! The app lets you:
