Have you ever had a library or research-related question when you were on the go or after the library's operating hours?

 

Did you know that the library has a service which allows you to ask your question at any time or any place?

 

The library's Reference Department provides email-based reference services where you can email reference@tarleton.edu and get a response within a 24 hour time-frame.

 

You can also visit the Ask a Librarian page to fill out a web form which will assist the librarian in answering your question.

 

Submit your question with as much detail as you can, and we'll work hard to find you the answer.

Outdoor Recreation and the Library

Summer is always a great time to go camping, fishing, swimming, or enjoy other outdoor recreation. This summer, Rec Sports will be hosting several Outdoor Pursuits as well as outdoor recreational activities. You can also climb the rock wall and enjoy free sessions of Group X, in the Rec Center, during the summer.

 

What do Rec Sports and the Library have in common you may be thinking? It's important to exercise both your body and mind! The library and Rec Sports can both provide the tools to a successful workout. Stop by the library to see what resources are available on outdoor recreation and pick up a brochure/pamphlet on Rec Sports activities.

Have you ever found yourself lost upstairs in the library's stacks? Or maybe you're working on a paper on one of our computers upstairs and realize you need assistance finding more sources but don't want leave your work unattended?

Did you know we have a reference desk upstairs which is staffed by professional librarians and library staff throughout various times of the day?

• Mobile apps and resources so you can get what you need while on the go.
• Off-campus and distance services so Tarleton students, faculty, and staff at satellite campuses and/or in online classes can take full advantages of our resources.
• Interlibrary loan services so you can obtain items not in the library's collections
• TexShare card program so you can get borrowing privileges at libraries across the state.
