Meet Our Staff: Lacey Cook

Lacey Cook
Electronic Resources Associate
Dick Smith Library – Main Floor – room 111

I have recently moved into the position of Electronic Resources Specialist here at the Library, and I am so happy to be here! Everyone has been so welcoming and helpful, and I am grateful for that.

I was born and raised in good ol’ Abilene, TX. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2012 with a Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. While living in Arlington, I held a buyer’s assistant position at a large salon and spa. Shortly after graduating, I moved to Stephenville. I held the computer lab aide position in the library at the high school for a year and a half.

When I am off the clock, I enjoy soaking up the sun in my back yard while reading a fantasy book. I enjoy going to the movies, as long as I have some popcorn and chocolate. When spending time with family and friends, we tend to go to a Texas country concert. I get my creativity out by painting and crafting. My favorites are: the color pink, Twilight, celebrity gossip, all kinds of music, my boyfriend Coleman and my Manx cat Tiger.

I look forward to getting to know all of you and hope that I can learn more about everyone else as well!
