New Practice Presentation Room on Lower Level

Welcome back for the spring semester!  The Dick Smith Library is pleased to announce the availability of a new practice presentation room:
Located on the lower level of the library in a former audiovisual equipment room, this space is available for students who need to rehearse a presentation.  It is equipped with a projector, computer on a podium, and Smartboard, as well as (currently) three tables and eight chairs.  (The tables and chairs may be changed or reconfigured later as we see how you are using them.)

Using the room requires a reservation, which may be made at the Circulation Desk on the main floor, or by calling 254-968-1895, as the room will be locked when not in use.  The room may be reserved for up to a four-hour period any time the library is open.

Please give your feedback and suggestions on this new space to Special Services Librarian Amanda Pape or any staff member.
